Enhanced bodies come with a cost of money and humanity. Some soldiers in the regular army have chosen to only enhanced their arms or their legs depending of their tasks, but most of contractors have all of their limbs cut
and are equiped with magnetic plugs. Four plugs means being more combat efficient, it also means more different type of mission capabilities, it increases the survavibility and then it means more money. Some of them keep
their penis in an effort of staying human and maybe having a family after being retired, but some of them decide to go full tactical by avoiding the sexual aspect or their life and the need to go the toilet during a mission in order
to leave no trace of their presence. Plugs are the visible part of the whole structure.
A heavy chirurgical operation is needed first to replace the limbs by plugs, but also to implement an endoskeleton which can withstand the tremendous stress these prothesis will put on the contractor's body. The endoskeleton
comes along with a maintenance network which is visible by the different entry ports all around the body. Some are bigger and need a dial to trigger different mode like for the brain, the heart or the liver. It also comes with
an internal cooling system which can regulate the temperature of the contractor depending if he operates through a very cold weather or in the contrary a very hot one. It makes him able to wear tactical pants and shirt which
reduces IR signature and also are kevlar reinforced even in very hot conditions. As they belong to the mercenary class, they have the money to access a decent amount of prosthesis choices for their different missions, and yet pieces are still expencive and most of the time contractors have to make
trade off about the choice of their equipment. Most of them are customized at some points but still are 100% reliable. Most of their money is spend on equipement maintenance and upgrades. They can't afford either high level
chirurgical operation nor top notch products as wealthy people do so they have to endure awful and painful body reactions which are managed by the use of strong drugs which are also expensives leaving them physically
and psychologically marked which lead them to push the transformation further.
